Justice Arvind Balkrishna Palkar was born on 14th June,1941. He was enrolled as an Advocate on 13th September, 1967 and practised for a period of four and half years in Civil and Criminal Courts including District Court at Akola as also in Revenue Courts and Rent Control Authorities. He joined Judicial Service as Civil Judge, Junior Division, on 24th February, 1972 and worked in various capacities. He was promoted as District Judge on 11th September, 1989 and worked as Judge
Family Court and as Principal Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra, Law and Judiciary Department. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 9th June, 1997 and permanent Judge on 7th June, 1999 and appointed as a Judge of the Special Court (Trial of Offences Relating to Transaction in Securities) Act, 1992 on 15th September,2001. He retired on 14th June, 2003.
