The Special Court (TORTS) deals with following types of matter in its Civil & Criminal Jurisdiction

The window period of the Special Court is of the transactions in securities after 1st April 1991 and on or before 6^th June, 1992.

The Special Court is constituted under the Special Court (Trial of Offences Relating to Transactions in Securities ) Act, 1992 has jurisdication to try the Civil Cases under Section 9 A (4) of the Special Court (TORTS) Act, 1992. The Special Court has also Jursidiction to try Criminal Cases for the Offences committed under the Indian Penal Code, 1860
