Justice Madhav Sakharam Rane was born on 22nd November, 1937. He was enrolled as an Advovate on 12th February, 1965. Practised in civil and criminal matters. He was appointed as a Judge of the Bombay City Civil and Sessions Court on 5th December, 1977.
He was promoted as the Principal Judge of the Bombay City Civil Court and Sessions Judge on 1st April, 1990. He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court on 9th November, 1992 and permanent Judge on 14thJanuary, 1994.
