Justice Shrikant Raghunath Sathe was born on 1stDecember, 1945. He was enrolled as an Advocate in October, 1970. He practised for 5 years and five months in Solapur in Civil and Criminal matters. He specialized in civil and criminal matters. He joined the Judiciary in 1976. He worked as Joint District Judge, Thane. He was Additional Registrar of the Bombay High Court at Nagpur and Bombay and also as Registrar of the Bombay High Court. He also worked as District Judge at Ahmednagar.
He was appointed as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court with effect from 29th August, 2003 and appointed as a Judge of the Special Court (Trial of Offences Relating to Transaction in Securities) Act, 1992 on 1st February,2006. He retired on 1st December, 2007.
